Coverage across premises
Plan the Aruba network around the spaces, users and devices actually present, then assess coverage requirements and installation constraints before choosing access points or deciding where they should be positioned.

A meeting room, reception area and workshop have different connectivity requirements. For an Aruba project, we examine spaces, obstacles, simultaneous users and applications sensitive to interruptions. An SME in French-speaking Switzerland may also want to separate visitors from employees without complicating access. The assessment covers wired infrastructure and access points together: good radio coverage is insufficient when upstream connectivity or power is inadequate.
Plan the Aruba network around the spaces, users and devices actually present, then assess coverage requirements and installation constraints before choosing access points or deciding where they should be positioned.
Define permitted visitor uses on the Aruba network, separation from internal business tools and access arrangements, then test the proposed setup with the people responsible for the premises and their users.
Check port and power requirements for devices connected to Aruba switches, considering the selected models, available capacity and planned changes to the premises before assuming that existing equipment can accommodate them.
Choose how the relevant Instant On devices will be managed after checking their supported options, then document accounts and the practical consequences of moving to a different management mode later.
Identify the people administering the Aruba network, the sites involved and the information that must be retained, so that responsibility can be transferred clearly when a provider or internal owner changes.
Schedule Aruba updates and changes around the use of the premises, keeping a documented starting configuration, connection tests and a procedure for returning to the previous setup if the change causes problems.
From initial scoping to ongoing support, the agreed work and each party’s responsibilities are defined with you before implementation.
Identify sites, equipment, traffic and dependencies before defining priorities.
Prepare changes, test configurations and organise commissioning.
Assess usage, coverage areas and mobility needs. The required measurements are agreed during scoping.
Separate uses, restrict traffic and define access rules with the people responsible.
Agree monitoring checks, updates and incident-handling arrangements.
Document the network and plan its next developments with your teams.
We start with your teams’ needs, business applications and organisational constraints.

Share client files between colleagues, with appropriate access and documents that are easy to find.

Keep tills and connections working, including across multiple shops.

Protect patient records and maintain the tools needed for consultations.

Connect the office and the workshop, secure equipment and prepare for recovery after an incident.
Tools alone are not enough. Ongoing management, access and documentation need to remain clear over time.
Defined areas and needs, with coverage to be checked on site.
Traffic rules and separate access according to usage.
Inventoried equipment and checks suited to the required service.
Updates and changes prepared with the people involved.
Useful documentation for planning replacements and new requirements.
Uses, limitations and frequently asked questions: the points to clarify when preparing your project.
The brand covers several families, including HPE Networking Instant On. Their consoles and management arrangements are not interchangeable. Some Instant On switches offer local or cloud administration, with conditions for changing modes. We check exact models, powered-port requirements and expected features. An IT audit can clarify the scope before expanding a network installed in stages.
Deployment prepares networks for employees, guests and specialist equipment. We define how these relate to wired networks, administrator access and account ownership. On-site acceptance checks working areas, calls and movement between spaces. Settings, positions and connections are documented. Managed IT can then include alerts and updates according to responsibilities agreed with your business.
An access point's advertised throughput does not guarantee that speed for every user. The building, devices, interference and internet connection influence results. An extension should be validated through actual observations. Guest network separation also needs testing, rather than simply a name in a console. Our cybersecurity approach helps verify access between networks and to manageable equipment.
Will adding an access point always fix a coverage gap? No. Its position, channels, wired connection and user devices also need assessment.
Can an Instant On switch move from local to cloud management without preparation? Procedures and potential resets depend on its mode and hardware. We check the documentation and preserve the necessary configuration before arranging the change, avoiding improvisation during a working day.
The local switch management guide explains management modes and conditions. The Instant On deployment guide provides segmentation examples. Those examples need adapting to your equipment and the software versions actually installed.
Review of your needs, comparison of options and clearly explained priorities.
Preparation, configuration, testing and coordination with the relevant providers.
Agreed support scope, documentation, licences and next steps.
